Summer Camp (Trail Program)

What: This is an 8-week training program for people who want to train over the summer, but want to avoid the roads and heat of the North Carolina sun and stick to the trails. We’ll train for a long distance mock race with varying distances and a party at the finish line.

Pre-requisites:  Must be able to run continuously 3-4 miles.  This is NOT a beginner program and some running experience is required.

Meeting Days: Tuesdays at 6:00 PM (usually at Umstead State Park) and Saturdays at 7:30 AM (various locations in the Raleigh area).  You will receive a calendar of the locations for each training day at the beginning of the program. 

Cost: $80.  Includes – summer camp trucker hat, training plan, coached runs, educational seminars, yummy goodies, in-store sponsor discounts.

Participant Interest Meeting: Wednesday, May 31st @ 7PM, Fleet Feet Sports Morrisville

First Workout: Tuesday, June 6th location TBD

Goal Distances: To cater to various abilities we will make routes/groups that go on different long runs.
