Get Lucky and Train With Us- 8K Training Program
What: 9-week training program for people who want to train for the St. Paddy's Day Race, build some endurance, and build on new running techniques.
Pre-requisites: Must be able to run or run/walk at least 2 miles at a 14:30 min/mile pace. The workouts will progress from 2 miles up to about 5.5 miles. **If you are a walker interested in joining this program to work up to walking the 8K, please email Shelly (firstname.lastname@example.org) for specific instructions.
Meeting Days: Thursday nights - 6PM at Fleet Feet Sports Raleigh and Saturday mornings - 8AM, with rotating locations in the Raleigh area. (January 3rd - March 2nd, 2013) You will receive a calendar of the locations for each training day at the beginning of the program.
There are also 2 optional non-coached workouts per week if you would like to get in a few more running days … Mondays- 6PM the nOg Run Club and Wednesdays- 6PM at Fleet Feet Sports Raleigh.
Cost: $80 (by Dec. 28, $85 Dec. 29 and later). Includes- Technical Shirt, Training Plan and online Workout Log, 2 Coached Runs Per Week, Speed nights every other Thursday, Educational Seminars, St. Patty's Day Goodies, and much more.
