TFC Race For The Goal 5K

Triangle Futbol Club (TFC) will kick off the 2012-2013 season with the second annual TFC Race For The Goal 5K on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012 at 8 a.m. at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, NC. Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to join us for this event to raise money for TFC’s soccer scholarship program and fields.

• Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012
  • 6:45 - 7:30 a.m. Packet Pick-up/ Chip Pick-up for competitive participants
  • Note: Chip pick-up only on Saturday morning
• 5K Begins
  • 8:00 a.m.
• Free Kids’ Dash (for kids age10 and under)
  • 8:45 a.m.

Awards

5K Competitive- To the top 3 Male and Female overall, and to the top 3 M+F in each age group listed below: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-17, 18-29, 30-44, 45+ Please note you must register as a competitive runner to compete for awards. A brief awards ceremony will immediately follow the completion of the race.

Raffle—New this year!

Great prizes will be raffled off after the race. One free raffle ticket per registration and ad- ditional tickets can be bought race day.

Course

The course is two loops on grass and packed dirt. A Course Map will be emailed. No pets.

Registering

Family Discount (immediate family members only) and Group (10+ from a team) participants will be classified as “Recreational” with no timing chip; unless a “Competitive” category timing chip is selected for an additional $5 per participant.

Regular registration is until July 27, 2012 and late registration is July 28 - Aug. 3, 2012. 

There will be Race-Day registration! ($25)

T-Shirts – Guaranteed size to all who are registered by July 27. Some will be available race day.
