2011 marked the first year for the MS Society's MS Mud Run Carolinas.  The race took place in October north of Durham and featured a grueling 6 mile course filled with muddy slides, obstacles, and good ol mucky fun.  Fleet Feet Sports was honored to sponsor the event, supporting our love for running and adding a fun twist of motivation.  Check out some pics of last year's event on our Facebook page.

In 2012 the race is re-branded as MUCKRUCKUS MS CAROLINAS and they've changed venue.  The event takes place on Saturday, June 16th in Knightdale, which is great news for anyone living closer to Raleigh/Cary/Apex!  The course is 5 miles and will feature approximately 30 obstacles that are less military in style, some of them actually more similar to the wacky fun of Wipe Out (yes, the tv show).  Check out this video from the Jacksonville event (keep in mind that obstacles and distances may be different from our run here in NC).

Teams are encouraged and are a great way to participate with friends and co-workers.   Well over 100 teams already exist!
